IT and (out-)sourcing
IT and (out-)sourcing
Organisations cannot work without IT products and services. They heavily rely on their proper functioning. Negotiating and drafting contracts in this field is specialized work. IT problems are complex, often extremely costly, and frequently lead to legal disputes.
Specific IT advice
We assist national and international companies, both suppliers and customers, with their specific IT related issues. Our specialists have experience with agreements in various areas such as SaaS, licenses, distribution, development, maintenance, outsourcing, and e-commerce. We are focused on preventing legal proceedings. However, if necessary, we will litigate, for example, regarding license compliance or failed IT projects.
Outsourcing
A key focus of Brinkhof is the legal support of (out-)sourcing, including information technology outsourcing (ITO) and business process outsourcing (BPO). We are often requested to join the client’s team that prepares the request for proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI), or public tender. If desired, we take the lead in the selection and negotiation phases. We work closely with specialists in substantive and organizational IT aspects. We have, for example, guided the disentanglement of various outsourcing contracts. Brinkhof is a member of Sourcing Netherlands, the independent knowledge and information network for successful sourcing partnerships.
