
Marije Rijsenbrij
Lawyer
Marije is a lawyer at Brinkhof specialising in information law, with a particular focus on privacy, data protection and platform regulation. She represents clients in litigation and enforcement proceedings relating to the GDPR, and advises at the intersection of privacy and digital regulation. In addition, she assists technology companies in class actions under the GDPR and the DSA.
Experience & ancillary activities
In 2023-2024, Marije was seconded to Snap Inc., where she contributed to the implementation of the DSA and conducted risk assessments concerning generative AI.
Marije was admitted to the Dutch bar in 2022. She holds a Master’s degree in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam and an LL.M. in European Law from the Humboldt University in Berlin.
She is actively involved in the association Jonge Privacy Advocaten Nederland, were she was responsible for organising the annual conference.
