Elena van Lieshout
Paralegal
Elena has been working as a paralegal at Brinkhof since 2026. She is part of the media and platforms team, where she focuses on matters in the fields of media, technology and information law. In this role, she is involved in both advisory work and litigation at the intersection of these areas.
Experience & ancillary activities
Elena graduated in 2026 from the University of Amsterdam, where she completed the Master’s programme in Information Law. As part of this programme, she wrote her thesis on the functionality doctrine in trademark law.
Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law with a specialisation in IT law from the University of Groningen, as well as a second Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Controlling.
