As a trademark attorney, Pietia advises on the protection of trademarks and designs, examines the eligibility of trademarks and designs for registration, and handles trademark and design applications. She specialises in handling disputes and represents clients in opposition, cancellation and appeal proceedings before the trademark authorities.

Pietia has over 15 years of experience as a trademark and design attorney, having worked at renowned Dutch trademark agencies. During her tenure, she gained extensive expertise in advising medium-sized companies and international corporations from a variety of sectors. She has been working at Brinkhof since 2023.
Pietia studied at the University of Groningen, where she obtained a Master’s in Dutch Law. She is an active member of the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM).
