Isabelle is an active member of ChIPs and Young EPLAW. In 2026, she won the Young EPLAW UPC mock trial. While studying for her Bachelor’s in Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam, Isabelle spent an exchange semester studying US Intellectual Property Law at Loyola University in New Orleans. She subsequently obtained a Master’s in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s in Fashion Law (cum laude) from LUISS in Rome. Isabelle wrote her theses on the protection of medical solutions in a pandemic and the functionality exception in EU design law.

  • representing Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) in UPC proceedings relating to CAR-T therapy;
  • representing Sandoz in various cases, of which about anticoagulant rivaroxaban and MS-drug dimethyl fumarate (DMF);
  • representing Agfa in UPC proceedings against Gucci relating to a method for printing on leather; and
  • representing Oppo in a dispute about standard essential patents with Nokia.
