Berent Wolters
Patent attorney
Berent is a Dutch Patent Attorney, European Patent Attorney and registered representative before the UPC. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
As a patent attorney, he has worked in private practice as well as in-house with various international companies. He has experience in fields including medical devices, mechanical and multiphysical systems, and audio and video coding.
Berent advises on validity and infringement in patent disputes before the European Patent Office, the Dutch courts and the UPC. His extensive experience with grant procedures enables him to creatively come at a case from different angles.
