Amber van Vugt

Counsel

Amber is a counsel at Brinkhof. She represents national and international clients in complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on class actions and follow-on competition litigation. In addition, Amber advises on and litigates in disputes relating to contractual and non-contractual liability, private international law, corporate law and consumer law.

Experience & ancillary activities
Amber began her career in 2017 at the boutique law firm Lemstra Van der Korst. She subsequently worked as a lawyer at Stibbe and CMS, where she was involved in leading follow-on competition litigation proceedings that have contributed to the further development of case law in this field.

In 2017, Amber obtained her Master’s degrees in Private Law and Corporate Law: Law, Markets and Behaviour.

In addition to her work, Amber publishes regularly. She also mentors students annually at the Amsterdam student moot court competition.
