Quinten Pilon

Personal assistant

Quinten Pilon is active in the field of competition, privacy and data protection law.

In 2022 Quinten graduated (cum laude) from the University of Groningen with a master’s degree in Civil Law. Previously, he had completed the master’s degree IT-Law and bachelor’s degrees IT-Law and Dutch Law. He has strong affinity with the legal aspects of IT and innovation. His master’s theses were written about the processing grounds for processing medical data by hospitals and the influence of recommender algorithms on the safe harbour exception for online platforms.

During his academic career Quinten worked as pro bono legal advisor and was on the board of a law clinic. As a research assistant at the University of Groningen he contributed to research in the field of privacy and media law.
