Charlotte Tiems

Charlotte Tiems (admitted to the bar on 14 July 2021) is mainly active in the field of national and European patent law.

After an internship at Brinkhof, Charlotte started working at the firm early 2021. Charlotte graduated from Amsterdam University early 2021 with a master’s degree in Information Law. She wrote her thesis on the functioning of the Orphan Drug Regulation.

During her studies, Charlotte worked as a legal adviser for Clinic Law Incubator, where she advised individuals and start-ups on legal issues concerning intellectual property law, information law and privacy. She also volunteered as an editor for a student-run online platform (‘Rechtencircuit’), that publishes interviews and articles on legal matters.
