Boukje van der Maazen (admitted to the bar in 2017) mainly advises and litigates in the field of national and European patent law. Boukje also handles cartel damages cases and is active in the general IP and litigation practice.

After a student internship at Brinkhof in 2016, Boukje started working at the firm in 2017. She studied Law at the University of Amsterdam and Columbia Law School (New York). Boukje also completed a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. She graduated in 2016 from the University of Amsterdam, where she completed a LL.M in Information law.

During her studies Boukje worked as a court clerk at the District Court of Amsterdam. She also volunteered as a legal advisor at a student-run organization (‘Stichting Rechtswinkel Bijlmermeer’) that provides free legal advice on private- and administrative law matters.
