Hanneke Kooijman advises in the field of competition law, European law and regulated industries. She started working for Brinkhof in 2016.
In 2015 Hanneke graduated with honours (cum laude) from Tilburg University with a master’s degree in European Public Law and a bachelor’s degree in Dutch law. Also, she studied a semester at the Ruprecht-Karls Universität in Heidelberg, Germany. Her master thesis dealt with the concept of consumer welfare as the goal of competition law, and the application of that concept in the enforcement practice of the ACM (the Dutch Competition Authority). She worked as an intern for an international law firm and for the legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Subsequently she worked as a legal expert on European law for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Hanneke is a member of the Dutch Association of European Law and the Dutch Association of Competition Law. Hanneke is fluent in English and German.
