Gregor Vos

Gregor Vos joined Brinkhof as a partner in January 2016. He became a lawyer in 1994 and has specialised in Intellectual Property (IP) ever since. Gregor is an all-round IP litigator with a practice that has an emphasis on trademarks, designs and advertising. He has successfully litigated a large number of high profile multinational trademark cases, both in the Netherlands and before European institutions such as the European Trademarks Office and the Court of Justice of the EU.

Gregor is a reputed IP lawyer of whom Chambers says:"‘Clients value Gregor Vos’s  “strong commercial expertise and excellent knowledge of trade marks”.  His broad practice also covers designs and advertising.’" Chambers has described him as: "‘skillful and effective’ and as ‘eager and hard working with tremendous energy’."

Gregor represents a number of well-known trade mark owners in various industries, such as fashion, sports, foods, house hold cleaning and toys. In addition, Gregor is an experienced litigator in the field of advertising and more specifically, pharmaceutical advertising.

Until 2016, Gregor was a partner with the IP niche firm Klos Morel Vos & Reeskamp and before that he was a partner with NautaDutilh. For a short period Gregor has also worked in industry as a Corporate Trademarks Manager with Unilever. Gregor has studied at the universities of Amsterdam (LL.M.) and London (LL.M.) (Queen Mary & Westfield College).

Gregor is a domain name panellist at WIPO in Geneva for conflicts on both generic top level and .nl country code domain names. He regularly speaks and teaches both in the Netherlands and abroad and also regularly publishes in legal magazines and handbooks.
