Alexander de Leeuw

Alexander de Leeuw (admitted to the Bar in 2015) advises on (national and European) patent law. Moreover, Alexander is active in general IP law, trade secret law as well as general litigation.

Alexander started working for Brinkhof in 2015. He graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2014, where he completed a Research Master on Information law. His master's thesis concerned the patentability of software in both Europe and the United States and was awarded with one of the three annual awards for best thesis of the university in 2015.

Alexander has studied law in Amsterdam (University of Amsterdam), New York City (Yeshiva University) and Copenhagen (University of Copenhagen) and has written several (online) publications during his studies. As a student Alexander has worked at the intellectual property practice of a larger Amsterdam full-service law firm.
